Department Profile
Wealth Management Product Technology (WMPT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm’s WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, and securities-based loans and tailored lending. Position Overview
We are looking for creative individuals who have experience developing cutting-edge, scalable technology solutions. The selected candidate will become a member of the team which develops the platform for banking and payment services. The individual will participate in design and architecture sessions and develop code which is in alignment with system architecture and design standards. Candidate will work as part of an Agile squad and interact with other squad members as well as external stakeholders including business and technology partners (local as well as global) across Wealth Management, infrastructure team, architecture team to deliver the objectives.
Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop common business services / components that are the core foundation blocks across all systems and service model as part of API management best practices and REST design paradigms.
- Implement features like versioning, caching, authentication, authorization, throttling, circuit braking, traceability, aggregation, orchestration, discovery, monitoring, alerts, and analytics.
- Work as an Agile squad member and interact with other squad members as well as external stakeholders including business and technology partners (local as well as global) across Wealth Management, infrastructure team, architecture team to deliver the objectives.
- Employ CI/CD well as DevOps principles to achieve SDLC goals of the firm.
- Take complete ownership of the systems from analysis to development to unit testing as well as production support.
- Build forward looking interfaces that will support continuous integration across multiple applications.
Skills Required:
- 7+ years of experience in .NET, .NET Core and related technologies (C#, Web API, Entity Framework, Microservices, SOAP & REST).
- Good knowledge of SQL Server. Should be comfortable writing stored procedures and user defined functions.
- Knowledge of development of containerized applications, docker, cloud development patterns.
- Working experience of Agile development methodologies and exposure to JIRA or other ALM tools to create a productive, high-quality development.
- Proven experience in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) as well as DevOps principles.
- Strong programming skills with emphasis on writing efficient algorithms to handle large data sets and processing.
- Ability to coordinate with various teams to deliver projects successfully.
- Knowledge of UML design, source control (preferably Git) and Release mgmt. tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills.
Skills Desired:
- Some exposure to UI Stack (Angular, React, Typescript, CSS, HTML).
- NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- In-memory caching / databases (Redis), Messaging (Kafka/ MQ).
- Knowledge of Financial market, banking, and Wealth Management.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to develop proof of concepts/prototypes in the new areas of development.
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
