About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and result-oriented content creator who will be responsible for producing, distributing and tracking content to support business objectives. This includes producing marketing collaterals to promote key products across retail, private banking in Hong Kong, Singapore and SEA markets. Reporting to Head of Product Marketing & Market Insights, Asia ex Japan, you will collaborate across the marketing, sales and investment teams to develop engaging content that helps to drive interest in our products. We are looking for someone to bring new ideas to a fast-changing investment landscape in the age of AI and a passion to learn and grow as a content creator / marketer.
Responsibilities of the role:
Produce digital content that is engaging to promote key products (mutual funds and ETFs), investment capabilities and Invesco’s brand.
Manage and maintain content calendars to ensure timely delivery of content and drive website traffic.
Produce key focus fund and campaign websites, product emails, video scripts and WhatsApp messages.
Monitor and analyze the performance of content and adjust outputs as needed.
Work closely with channel and digital marketing teams to enhance client journey on our digital platforms.
Ensure all content is optimized for search engines, AI and meets accessibility standards.
Embrace automation to enhance efficiency in the production of marketing materials.
Produce Chinese (traditional and simplified) and English marketing materials to promote key products.
Deliver content to Chinese mainland clients.
Proofread and verify investment marketing bilingual content to ensure accuracy and consistency with Invesco’s in-house style and terminology.
Ability to independently handle client requests / templates / FAQs / newsletters.
Requirement for the Role:
University degree in any discipline that can demonstrate effective English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) writing skills, and investment knowledge. Business, Communications, English, Finance, Investment Management, Economics, Journalism, Marketing, Translation (English and Chinese) or other related disciplines.
2 to 6 years’ work experience, preferably in financial institutions, financial journalism, digital content, marketing, communications, or translation.
Buy-side investment industry, investment funds and pension investment preferred.
Experience in digital marketing and website content authoring.
Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
Writing experience/interest for social media content.
Knowledge in Bloomberg terminal and Morningstar a plus.
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
Effective writing and sub-editing skills in Chinese and English to transform technical investment ideas into clear and concise marketing content.
Effective communications in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
Typing in Chinese (>20 characters/minute).
Excel and PowerPoint skills to create graphical representation of Bloomberg financial data, and Morningstar fund performance statistics.
Basic knowledge of portfolio management and global investment markets (equities, fixed income, multi-assets, alternative) or willingness to quickly learn.
Strong systems knowledge – email marketing and CMS a plus.
Ability to use AI and other modern tools to increase efficiencies in workflow, translation, etc.
Good interpersonal and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated, disciplined, punctual, patient, humble and open-minded.
Strong spirit of teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to operate under tight timelines with ease.
Confident to express opinions and propose new ideas within marketing and sales teams.
A passion for investments and communications.
Keen to learn and develop as a professional marketer.
