Role Description
We are seeking a Junior Analyst to join the São Paulo Equities Product Control team within ISG Finance. This role is ideal for early‑career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in finance, markets, and financial control within a global organization.
The analyst will support daily P&L reporting, month-end close activities, and ongoing finance processes, working closely with senior team members and partnering with business and finance stakeholders. This position offers significant exposure to Equities products and an excellent learning environment within Product Control.
Within the Finance division, we partner with business units globally by providing financial analysis, reporting, and support related to the Firm’s financial performance and capital resources.
Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation and review of daily P&L reports for Equities businesses
Assist in investigating P&L movements and variances under guidance from senior team members
Help with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and data validation
Partner with internal teams (Front Office, Operations, Risk, Finance) to resolve basic issues and follow up on open items
Maintain and improve documentation, controls, and reporting processes
Support audits, regulatory requests, and internal control activities
Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related fields (or final-year student)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Basic understanding of financial statements and P&L concepts
Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of financial systems is a plus
Fluent English (written and spoken); Portuguese required
