We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our team in Gdansk. This position is responsible for performing a variety of accounting activities, including balance sheet account reconciliations, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to support accurate and compliant financial statements.
About the Role
In this opportunity as an Accounting Analyst, you will:
Responsibilities
- Support finance operations in preparation and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
- Monitor and follow up on reconciling items, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Perform month-end close responsibilities with a good understanding of the close process and financial reporting.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders through regular communication.
- Assist in monthly financial reporting and prepare account analyses as needed.
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance and training to team members as needed.
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Accounting Analyst if you have the following required qualifications:
Technical / Professional Skills & Competencies
- At least 3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong English communication skills.
Certifications / Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.
