Skills and Competencies
• 4+ years of strong understanding of investment instruments, including fixed income, equities, alternatives, and derivatives (e.g., swaps, options, forwards, futures)
• Proficiency in financial modeling techniques such as discounted cash flow analysis, interest rate modeling, and derivative pricing
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in coding; familiarity with SQL, R, or Python is an added advantage
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong multitasking and prioritization capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively and manage stakeholder expectations
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to adapt as priorities evolve
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related discipline
• CFA, FRM, PRM, or similar professional certifications is preferred
Responsibilities
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly asset and risk valuations with accuracy and adherence to timelines
• Gather, validate, and analyze daily market data such as curves and indices to support valuation processes
• Deliver portfolio valuations and client-facing outputs for the Analytics Delivery Team supporting PFaroe™ DB
• Manage client portfolios including benchmark setup, valuation cycles, rebalancing activities, and configuration of private or OTC securities
• Support senior team members with technical troubleshooting, workflow automation, training initiatives, and bespoke client deliverables
• Respond to client queries, assist in maintaining client relationships, and support documentation efforts
About the Team
The Analytics Delivery (AD) team is responsible for delivering high‑quality asset valuations and analytics to clients across the Asset Management business. The team plays a key role in supporting client relationships, maintaining the integrity of Moody’s analytics products, and ensuring consistently strong client experience.
This role sits within the Analytics Delivery team based in Gurugram, operating as part of a globally distributed team with colleagues across multiple geographies. By joining us, you will collaborate closely to deliver timely, accurate, and scalable analytics solutions to a diverse client base.
