We're seeking someone to join our Legal Entity Management (LEM) team as a Director in Treasury to work on inter-affiliate funding deliverables.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is a Director position within our Corporate Treasury & Capital Planning Job Family which is responsible for planning, managing, forecasting and optimizing capital, liquidity and funding resources; governance oversight of Treasury and Capital Planning; setting frameworks, policies and guidelines for appropriate management of these resources; managing regulatory deliverables and exams; managing CCAR/Capital Stress Testing process.

What you'll do in the role:
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Responsible for and lead aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segments
- Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work
- Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
- Assess proposed changes to the Firm's Booking Models and analyze impact on liquidity, funding, and capital requirements on the Firm and on a legal entity basis
- Assist in evaluating the impact of changes to regulatory requirements to the Firm's legal entities, including changes to Booking Models and / or legal entity structures
- Evaluate opportunities to rationalize the firm's Booking Model inventory in an effort to simplify and streamline operations
- Manage the governance of Booking Model Framework, including support of Senior Committee and working group meetings and agendas
- Support the Material Entity Designation process
- Support Recovery and Resolution related Firm efforts, meeting regulatory deliverables and addressing regulatory feedback
- Assist in managing and reviewing liquidity and capital requirements for Material Service Entities
- Coordinate among different groups across Corporate Treasury, Controllers, BU, etc. across the Firm to support strategic initiatives
What you'll bring to the role:
- In-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment
- Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities
- Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes
- Multi-year experience in strategic planning, strategy execution, management consulting, investment banking, sales & trading, corporate treasury or a similar role
- Strong understanding of business strategy, project management, and change management principles
- A foundation in finance, accounting, or capital markets; Experience with balance sheets and financial impact analysis, Derivatives experience is of particular interest
- Excellent analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, including the ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity
- Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders using your strong written and verbal communication skills
- A strong motivation to take responsibility for your work and deliver positive results by leveraging your organization and time management skills
- Worked in a high-paced environment and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs
