DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented IT Solution Engineer to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Corporate organization in Columbus, IN .
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Improve solution quality by conducting technical analyses that identify the most viable and cost‑effective options between COTS products and custom-built solutions.
- Enhance system performance and reliability through accurate configuration, verification, and documentation of application setups aligned with functional requirements.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration by gathering and translating business, technical, and integration requirements into clear workflows and functional specifications.
- Boost project delivery efficiency by supporting the design and documentation of solution components, architecture diagrams, and technical specs that guide development teams.
- Ensure smooth system transitions by contributing to data migration activities and following established procedures to minimize errors and downtime.
- Increase solution stability by assisting with testing, executing assigned test cases, and escalating issues appropriately to ensure rapid and effective resolution.
- Promote secure and compliant solutions by participating in design, cybersecurity, and code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
- Support long-term system improvement by analyzing existing systems, identifying remediation opportunities, and providing Level 3 support for critical issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- Modern Development Practices - Applies modern engineering practices and tools—such as Agile/DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code—to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and reduce risk across the SDLC.
- Solution Design - Translate business requirements into integrated designs, architectures, patterns, and system interactions that deliver customer value and align with enterprise standards and subject-matter platforms.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Minimal relevant work experience required. 1-3 years of experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end application initiatives, including requirements gathering, solution design support, testing (including UAT), and go-live coordination.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and Scrum teams in an Agile environment.
- Proficient in documenting requirements, reviewing solutions, and validating system functionality.
- Demonstrate strong learning agility with a keen interest in understanding technical and functional aspects of the Product MDM domain.
- Basic knowledge of MDM concepts or database/SQL is good to have.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to quickly grasp new tools and processes.
