Warehouse Summer Student position

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for students to join our team in Edmonton, for the summer, in a warehouse operator role.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Under direct or close supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.
• Receive incoming goods; check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• High school education completed
• Must be enrolled full time in a school program for the coming Fall of 2026This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

• Minimal or no work experience required.
• Basic computer skills is an asset
• Parts experience or warehouse experience is an asset
• Able to work independently of others
• Able to perform physical tasks (lift 50 lbs)

About the role:

• Union environment
• Working hours are Monday-Friday 730am to 4pm OR 930am to 6pm
• Tasks (but not limited to) : picking orders,sorting stock and house keeping in the shop.
• Position to start May 4 2026
• Pay is 20$ hourly.
