Web Front-End/Angular Developer (Hybrid)

We are hiring a Web Front-End/Angular Developer to join our Fixed Income Origination and Syndication team in Advisory & Sales Distribution. In this position, you will be part of a global team building high-performance Angular applications designed for Morgan Stanley's Fixed Income markets. Our group collaborates closely with stakeholders across regions to deliver innovative and scalable solutions that streamline complex workflows and support business growth.

This is a Software Engineering III position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that support business needs

What you’ll do in the role:

• Build time critical and revenue generating applications for investment banking and global capital marketing businesses 

• Collaborate with your peers across the globe to build innovative user experiences which delight our users

• Use design thinking to improve developer efficiency

• Apply your knowledge of APIs, components, security standards, testing tools, web browsers, mobile development, etc. to deliver outstanding outcomes

• Work closely with Product Management Team, UX, Development & QA Teams to deliver timely and quality deliveries.

• Successfully multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged developer role.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• 4+ years of experience as a strong Web front-end developer with substantial HTML5/Angular experience

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Responsive designs

• Experience with common libraries (jQuery and Angular/Ember/React) and debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc.).

• Knowledge of native DOM and Event APIs

• Solid experience with unit testing of frontend components

• Experience with automated build pipelines, testing frameworks and other aspects of developing in large, distributed software teams.

• Experience with review-centric development model, focus on frequent reviews & code quality- Excellent analytical & communication skills (Independent, ability to take initiative without requiring direct guidance)

• Experience of iterative / agile development practices.
