What You Will Do- Contribute to cross‑functional project teams supporting product design and development, materials and product testing, definition of engineering specifications, and research activities, including pre-clinical and clinical studies.
- Collaborate directly with physicians and Cath Lab personnel to gather feedback and refine device concepts and performance.
- Independently plan, prioritize, and execute engineering activities to meet project timelines and deliverables.
- Design, execute, and analyze standard engineering tests and experiments; document and communicate results through technical reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design, material, and process‑related issues for new and existing products.
- Invent and develop new product and process concepts; prepare and submit idea disclosures.
- Provide technical direction, training, and support to R&D technicians.
- Partner closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, and Marketing teams to ensure project success.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (Mechanical, Biomedical, or Design preferred); Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience).
- At least 1 year of medical device experience
- Proven experience designing solutions and solving complex technical problems.
- Medical device design and development experience
