Automation Testing - VP - QA Engineering
We’re seeking someone to join our Sales & Distribution as QA Lead, candidate should be passionate about automation, quality deliverables and agile development.
In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a QA Lead Engineering position at VP level, which is part of the job family responsible in test (SDET) to work in an Agile development team.

What you'll do in the role:
Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions.
Drive the end to end automation strategy across UI, API, integration, and E2E testing.
- Define automation standards, best practices and scalable framework designs.
Lead development of reusable Java based automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright MCP etc.
Build and maintain automated test suites to validate complex business workflows including leveraging AI based tools and techniques.
Expand automation coverage across web apps, backend services and distributed systems.
Lead API and integration test automation for REST/SOAP and microservices architectures.
Oversee manual and exploratory testing for high risk releases and edge case scenarios.
Drive defect triage, root cause analysis and collaboration with developers for resolution.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates and KPIs.
Champion shift left practices, optimize regression cycles and mentor QA engineers.

What you'll bring to the role:
Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives.
Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines.
10+ years of QA Automation experience in large scale, enterprise environments.
Strong hands on expertise in UI automation (Selenium, Playwright MCP or equivalent) and API automation (REST/SOAP).
Proven experience designing or leading automation frameworks.
Hands on experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (preferably Jenkins).
Strong proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.
Excellent debugging skills including log analysis and SQL validation.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and influence cross functional teams.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across global teams.
