We’re seeking someone to join our Institutional Securities Technology team as a Front end Developer, in PWM Asia & Australia tech, involved in Design & Development of real-time platform that requires fast calculations

This is Associate position that manages and optimizes the technical environment and end-user experience across various workplace technologies for end-users, ensuring seamless operations and user satisfaction across the organization.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Design, develop, and maintain features on the STARS UI (React 19, TypeScript, Vite)

  • Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern component patterns and state management (Zustand, TanStack Query)

  • Contribute to backend API development on Spring Boot 3.x / Java 21 services when required

  • Write and maintain end-to-end automated tests using Playwright

  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

  • Collaborate with product owners to refine user stories, estimate effort, and clarify acceptance criteria.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders (product managers, architects, business analysts) across the organization.

  • Take ownership of sprint commitments and contribute to continuous improvement of team velocity and delivery predictability.

  • Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions, Ensure code quality, test coverage, and adherence to CI/CD best practices via Jenkins pipelines.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and support release deployments.


What you’ll bring to the role:

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science (or equivalent degree)

  • 4–6 years of professional software development experience

  • Strong proficiency in React (hooks, context, functional components), TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES2020+)

  • Experience with state management libraries (Zustand, Redux, or equivalent)

  • Experience with build tooling — Vite, Webpack, or similar bundlers

  • Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for REST API development.

  • Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar E2E testing frameworks.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins

  • Experience with Git workflows (branching, code review, merge strategies)

  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum teams — comfortable with iterative delivery, story pointing, and sprint-based workflows.

  • Strong cross-team communication skills — ability to articulate technical decisions clearly to stakeholders and non-technical partners.

  • Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team environment.
