DESCRIPTION
This engineering service-focused leadership role is responsible for defining, developing, and transforming global Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Release, and CAD execution processes. The position drives enterprise-wide standardization, digital enablement, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering efficiency, quality, and scalability.
The role acts as a strategic bridge between Engineering, PLM IT, Quality, Manufacturing, and Global Process Experts to enable a seamless, compliant, and digitally integrated product lifecycle. It focuses on advancing technical capabilities through process harmonization, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive global strategy, governance, and transformation of PLM, Release, and CAD processes across all Business Units.
- Lead enterprise-wide process harmonization and standardization to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Architect, design, and implement engineering processes such as Engineering Standard Work (ESW), Value Package Introduction (VPI), and change management frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for digital transformation, including automation and AI-driven improvements in engineering workflows.
- Lead development and enhancement of technical information systems, data repositories, and knowledge management frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver improved tools, processes, and solutions that enhance engineering productivity and quality.
- Provide leadership in resolving complex, ambiguous problems with global business impact.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize work processes, reduce cycle times, and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate and lead technical project teams, including managing small to mid-sized teams where required.
- Coach and mentor engineers, project managers, and cross-functional team members.
- Ensure compliance with global standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational best practices.
- Enable digital thread integration to improve traceability, data accuracy, and decision-making.

- Strong background in enterprise change management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with digital tools and platforms supporting product lifecycle management.
Preferred Experience:
- Expertise in PLM systems and tools.
- Experience with CAD tools such as Creo.
- Knowledge of automation and AI applications in engineering processes.
- Experience driving enterprise-level transformation initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field is required.
- Postgraduate (Master’s) degree in a relevant discipline is preferred for select roles.
- Relevant certifications or licensing may be required in compliance with export control or regulatory requirements.
