As an Associate Materials Supervisor at Stryker, you will lead and inspire a high-performing team responsible for the seamless flow of materials through our operations. You will oversee receiving, put-away, and warehouse operations, to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with quality and safety standards. Your leadership will directly support our mission to deliver life-changing medical technology to customers worldwide. This is an onsite position located in Redmond, WA.
What you will do:
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise and develop a team of Receiving Clerks, and Warehouse Associates.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to drive engagement and productivity.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Operational Oversight
- Manage daily receiving, put-away, storage, and material movement activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound and outbound materials.
- Maintain optimal warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with 5S principles.
Inventory & Quality Control
- Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and root cause analysis of discrepancies.
- Ensure materials meet quality standards before release to production or shipment.
- Collaborate with Quality, Planning, and Production teams to resolve material issues.
Process Improvement & KPI Management
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for receiving, storage, and material handling.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance operational performance.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3+ years of materials management or warehouse supervision experience, preferably in medical device or a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, inventory control, and warehouse best practices preferred.
- SAP/Oracle prior experience strongly desired.
- Lean/problem solving experience.
United States of America Pay Ranges:
- US15: $74,100 - $108,600 USD Annual
