DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting all Distribution Business customers, technicians, and other parts personnel in securing needed parts and supplies under moderate or direct supervision.
We are looking for a talented Service Parts Associate to join our Distribution business in (West Valley City, UT).

Will make an impact in the following ways:
• Provide customer parts counter support including answering calls, assisting walk-in customers, and processing orders
• Complete all required paperwork and accurately process cash, check, and credit card transactions
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers by responding to needs and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Utilize systems, catalogs, and collaborate with technicians to identify and source parts efficiently
• Support inventory management, shipping/receiving, warehouse activities, and stock control as needed
• Assist in sourcing complex parts requests and identifying cost-effective alternatives under supervision
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts counter and warehouse environment
• Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, policies, and procedures including PPE compliance
RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Strong customer service and communication skills with ability to work with diverse customers
• Ability to process orders accurately and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations
• Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft applications for order processing and reporting
• Ability to identify customer needs and support upselling opportunities when appropriate
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures consistently
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn parts systems, catalogs, and order life cycle processes
QUALIFICATIONS
Pulling parts orders, checking in and putting away inventory
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports, and advanced level computer skills.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level of knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
