The Associate Sales Education Manager works independently while leading, facilitating, and organizing all aspects of internal training programs and education, and works closely with the Senior Manager, Sales Education to ensure successful delivery of educational goals. This includes communication, development of curriculum, content, and training resources, onsite support of all training and education programs, and post-course documentation. The Sales Education Manager collaborates closely with the Marketing team to develop training for product launches as well as with the Sales leadership team to understand and support continuing education needs.
This role may require up to 30-35% travel.
What you will do:
• Demonstrate technical expertise to design and execute sales education programs including driving the training objectives and curriculum
• Attend cases, customer calls, dinners, conferences, or local events on a quarterly basis to stay current with the evolving needs of sales trainees and customers
• Develop, facilitate and/or deliver sales education in-class or virtually
• Benchmark education and training activities to determine best practices
• Evaluate various selling methodologies and incorporate best practices that improves educational curriculum
• Maintain strong HCP relationships while partnering on educational programs and participate in the KOL contract nomination and management process
• Collaborate with key opinion leaders to design and facilitate educational programs
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify KOL targets for sales education programs and identify and develop “up and coming” thought leaders
• Utilize subject matter and educational expertise to develop and measure learning curriculum
• Ensure sales education programs align with business objectives and marketing/sales initiatives
• Develop curriculum for phased Clinical and Sales Training program and ensure successful delivery of program goals through facilitation of online, in-person, and hands-on learning experiences
• Collaborate with faculty and HCPs to set direction on sales education objectives and content
• Collaborate with other functional teams including, but not limited to Downstream Marketing in the development of training materials to support new products, disease states, and evolving market needs while ensuring strategy alignment and consistency in messaging throughout educational programs
• Support and/or lead cross-functional and regional teams on critical projects, such as product launches or new Marketing messaging training
• Identify and develop new education platforms by analyzing business needs, budget and priorities
• Refine, develop and execute sales education strategies based on market insights and data/input following program execution
• Evaluate new technologies or platforms that can enable more efficient or streamlined approaches
• Coordinate and manage completion, collection, and organization of department reporting needs for measuring educational success across internal education programs and develop the strategy around continued success in a constantly evolving market
• Develop and drive Sales Education strategy & vision by anticipating sales needs and business priorities
What you need: Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6+ years of work experience required
Preferred:
- Masters degree preferred
- 3+ years medical device or marketing/sales or sales training experience preferred
- Experience in the VTE, endovascular, or peripheral vascular space; experience with the pulmonary embolism disease state strongly preferred
- Experience in group facilitation, adult learning methodologies, instructional design concepts, or presentation skills preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), proficiency with content creation software (Articulate 360, Synthesia, video editing) preferred
- Strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to create, refine and implement medical education programs and training material based on the changing needs of the customer and climate preferred
- Database and learning management system (LMS) experience preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise
- Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends
- Must be able to communicate / present to large groups of people
- Primary role will take place in office, bioskills lab, and classroom setting
- Requires case observation in hospital Cath Lab, IR lab and/or Operating Room which could involve exposure to blood borne pathogens

- USN: $89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual
- US5: $93,800 - $156,200 USD Annual
- US10: $98,200 - $163,700 USD Annual
- US15: $102,700 - $171,100 USD Annual
- US20: $107,200 - $178,600 USD Annual
- US30: $116,100 - $193,400 USD Annual
