Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing market strategy and driving long-term product planning to achieve business performance goals for Engine Business addressing On-Highway & Off-Highway Commercial Vehicle Market. The position focuses on identifying market opportunities, developing customer-led product strategies, and executing market penetration plans. It serves as a key link between market insights, product development, and business strategies while ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Insights
- Analyze macroeconomic, market, and technology trends to shape long-term product strategies
- Derive actionable insights from market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback
- Translate market needs into product capabilities and strategic opportunities
- Identify and prioritize market opportunities based on business value and feasibility
Product Planning & Roadmap Development
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned to specific market segments
- Create value propositions for new and existing products within the portfolio
- Provide input on product enhancements by evaluating current product strengths and gaps
- Lead Pre-Program Planning (PPP) and develop business cases for strategic opportunities
- Support Synchronized Business Planning (SBP) processes and manage projects within the Master Project List (MPL)
Customer-Centric Development
- Collaborate with Market Segment teams and Account Managers using Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into product plans
- Ensure product strategies are aligned with customer expectations and market demands
Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment
- Drive alignment across product, engineering, sales, and business units
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Coach and mentor cross-functional teams supporting product planning initiatives
- Facilitate collaboration to ensure successful execution of product strategies
Continuous Improvement & Best Practices
- Participate in Product Planning Functional Excellence initiatives
- Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
- Enhance processes related to product planning, market analysis, and execution
Digital
- Leads and drives Telematics initiatives in collaboration with OEM Partners.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (required)
