DESCRIPTION

The Procurement Coordinator – Level III works independently to support procurement operations by maintaining procurement systems, coordinating approvals, and ensuring effective control of procurement activities. This role provides operational and analytical support to global sourcing and finance teams while ensuring data accuracy, supplier engagement, and adherence to procurement policies. The position also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, supplier collaboration, and cross-functional coordination to meet business objectives related to cost, quality, delivery, and inventory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update procurement systems to ensure accurate and reliable supplier and procurement data.
  • Proactively communicate with suppliers to collect required documentation, maintain supplier records, and support supplier enablement in procurement systems.
  • Support identification and resolution of supplier invoice and payment issues in coordination with finance and procurement teams.
  • Assist with preparation of documentation for sourcing events and procurement activities.
  • Support contract completion, documentation closure, and record maintenance for supplier agreements and related documents.
  • Coordinate with sourcing, supplier quality, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to support procurement initiatives and project deliverables.
  • Assist in achieving business objectives related to cost, quality, delivery, and inventory through procurement support activities.
  • Support supplier quality initiatives in collaboration with supplier quality engineers and category teams.
  • Act as a liaison between procurement teams and other internal functions to facilitate communication and process alignment.
  • Participate in project teams to support implementation of process improvements and organizational changes.
  • Communicate with suppliers to manage project deliverables and ensure timelines are met.
  • Use standard process tools and business systems to generate analytics and reporting to support procurement activities.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of procurement data while identifying opportunities to improve data management processes.
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of procurement process improvements.
  • Participate in health, safety, and environmental awareness activities and comply with organizational policies.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience:

  • Relevant procurement, supply chain, or related work experience obtained through education, training, or professional roles.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 applications required.
  • Prior experience with supply chain or procurement systems preferred.
  • Experience supporting sourcing activities such as Request for Quote (RFQ) processes and Total Cost of Ownership analysis is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform global spend analysis and support category-based sourcing activities is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using Power BI for data analysis and reporting is beneficial.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience required.
  • College degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills in English preferred.
