I have had the honor of launching or reimagining iconic media brands to find new audience, build new products, diversify revenue streams and create lasting brand loyalty. I am a champion of change and creative innovation. But what really drives me is helping women and the next generation of leaders step into their power—at work, in relationships, and in their lives. I was editor-in-chief of legendary teen brand, Seventeen, for the better part of a decade and repositioned that brand to reach a new audience and drove it to number one by every metric. Most recently I've built an events and community platform to inspire and unite a network of women and men who are devoted to helping each other achieve and succeed. The business evolved from my book, The Big Life, which is a guide for the next generation who are changing what it means to be powerful and successful in the world—for everyone. I've been a consultant and contributor to Good Morning America, helping re-launch its website with a new editorial strategy and leading important on-air conversations about the next generation. With a message of embracing change and building bridges between generations, I give speeches and lead conversations for major conferences and brands, including TEDx, Forbes, Microsoft, Facebook and Avon.
