Camille Villafañe is a consultant in APCO Worldwide’s NewYork office. Ms. Villafañe focuses on international and domestic policy developments and issues management. While at APCO, she has advised various clients in the technology industry on the effects of policy and regulatory actions. She provides strategic communications support to multinational companies in the consumer goods space, and has assisted organizations with multilateral engagements, corporate social responsibility, and social impact initiatives. Ms. Villafañe is a member of APCO’s Diversity & Inclusion Council and is the founder and co-chair of the LatinAPCO Employee Resource Group.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Villafañe worked for the public affairs practice at Edelman and provided communications support to the United Nations’ Ocean Generation. She previously worked on defense issues for the Bureau of Industry and Security at the U.S. Department of Commerce and on strategic partnerships for the Office of the Secretary of Education at the U.S. Department of Education. She has had extensive international experience, advising the Delegation of the European Union in the U.S. on energy and environmental issues as well as helping develop European security strategies for the Royal Military Academy in Brussels, Belgium.
