
Mary Olushoga currently serves as Assistant Vice President and Senior Business Advisor at Pursuit Lending. Pursuit was created to assist, promote and advance the business prosperity and economic welfare of the State of New York by providing loans to small businesses including start-up, early stage and mature businesses with a particular emphasis on minority and women owned businesses.
As Assistant Vice President and Senior Business Advisor, Olushoga manages the J.P Morgan Chase Entrepreneur of Color fund where she oversees and develops an overall strategy to penetrate and spur economic development within the Bronx small business market and ecosystem. Olushoga accomplishes this goal by establishing partnerships with numerous corporations, local banks and community development organizations. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Business Advisor at Columbia University’s School of Business where she managed the Small Business entrepreneurship program, on behalf of Columbia University’s $80 million commitment to social responsibility. In her capacity as Business Advisor, Olushoga oversaw and managed the Harlem Local Vendor Program (HLVP) and the Columbia University Community Business Program (CCBP), both programs focused on empowering entrepreneurs and worked to strengthen ecosystems that enabled the growth and sustainability of small businesses in Harlem.
