Liuba Grechen Shirley, VoteMama Founder and CEO, will be joining us to share why building the political power of moms is necessary to see real policy change, and how electing Democratic moms is key to defending our health and reproductive rights.
In this chat, we’ll talk about:
- Why electing moms moves the needle on policy change
- Next steps in the fight for our reproductive rights
- How to take action and support moms running for office
Meet The Speaker
Liuba Grechen Shirley is the Founder and CEO of Vote Mama, the nation’s first Political Action Committee dedicated to electing Democratic moms up and down the ballot, as well as the Founder and CEO of Vote Mama Foundation, the leading source of research and analysis on the political participation of mothers in the United States.
Vote Mama fights to build the political power of Democratic moms by disrupting the systems that hold women back through direct financial support, mentorship, and endorsements.
Since launching in 2019, Vote Mama has helped over 350 moms run for office.
