Broadly speaking, diversity is the presence of differences within a given setting. In the workplace, we often refer to diversity as differences in race, nationality, religion, ability, and gender. Additionally, differences in experience, thought, and perspective can all be facets of an organization’s diversity.

Understanding what diversity is, how it affects employee well-being and business outcomes, and how to advance it in the workplace are some of the first steps in building a solid DEIB strategy. Global DEIB Strategist and Trainer Zara Chaudary will be joining us to dive into the topic of diversity and what it means to build and foster a diverse community in the workplace.

Tune in to learn:

  • What diversity in the workplace actually looks like
  • Actionable steps to build diversity at your organization
  • How to become an effective advocate/ally for others
In this 4-part training series, you’ll explore the fundamentals of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in the workplace with some of PowerToFly’s DEIB experts.
