Meet The Speakers

Heather Phillips

Senior Director, Product Design

Heather joined the team nearly two years ago. Previously, she worked as Director of Design at Abstract App.

Heather also has teaching experience. She was a Senior Lecturer at the California College of the Arts.

Genevieve Cuevas

Senior Director, Mobile Software Engineering

Gen Cuevas is a Senior Directory of Engineering at Slack. She joined Slack about 7 months ago, and currently leads the Virtual HQ team in Slack that builds tools such as Huddles & Clips. Prior to Slack, Gen worked at Google for 8 years, where she was a Senior Staff Software Engineer / Manager and led teams in Google Lens and Google Workspace. She holds a BS and M.Eng degrees in Computer Science from MIT.

Angela Kirchhof

Director of Product

Angela Kirchhof is a Director of Product at Slack. She has 10 years of PM experience – 4 years at Slack, and 6 years at Google. She has built and launched 3 zero-to-one products, with expertise in consumer mobile apps and enterprise workforce productivity tools. Angela is a product leader that inspires teams to balance innovation and execution, creativity and pragmatism.
