Networking and mentorship can be powerful tools for professional growth and development, helping you establish your personal brand. But how do you know if you’re connecting with the appropriate people? And how can you leverage relationships to maximize the impact on your career trajectory?
Roxane Lukas (EVP & Chief People Capability Officer) and James (Jim) Sottile (Executive Vice President & Chief Legal Officer) at Light & Wonder understand that networking is all about keeping things human — while sometimes being vulnerable.
These senior leaders have vast experience to draw upon and understand both sides of the networking equation and mentor/mentee experience. They’ll share their journeys and advice on building your support system so you can gain the guidance you need to get ahead.
During this Chat, you’ll learn:
Roxane Lukas is Light & Wonder's human potential champion as Chief People Capability Officer, accountable for organizational and leadership development, mentoring, talent management, executive coaching, and overall operating culture. She is a powerhouse with a passion for creating environments where leaders and the teams they lead can do their best work.
Roxane was previously the Chief People Officer for Scopely Inc., and TechStyle Fashion Group, and held various HR executive positions at Electronic Arts (EA), including VP, Global HR for the interactive division. Always working to lend her talents to others through guidance, Roxane is a mentor to women early in their careers and an advisor to early-stage companies.
Roxane graduated from Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature. She also earned a Master of Arts degree in Executive Development from New York University, as well as a MA in Spiritual Psychology for the University of Santa Monica. Roxane loves the relaxing fun of L&W’s casual games!
