Meet The Speakers
Teresa Guan started as a site reliability engineer at Yelp in 2021 and has transitioned into the Engineering Manager of Yelp’s Cloud Economics team in early 2023. Her team leads the cloud cost management strategy at Yelp by following FinOps principles. This marks her fourth career change going from bookkeeping to now as an engineering manager. In her spare time, Teresa likes to bake desserts, sew clothes, and try her hands at new arts and crafts hobbies.
Camila Casquilho is an engineer manager at Yelp leading the development of large scale machine learning systems for Yelp's ads products. She has been with Yelp for three years and was previously a tech lead of applied machine learning before transitioning to management. Camila holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of British Columbia.
