Government Services Director at Esri

Edward Carubis is the Esri Professional Services Director providing thought leadership and executive-level program management in support of government services. He has 35 years of proven success leveraging GIS to optimize the provision of equitable constituent services, and in addressing challenges at scale, ranging from our nation’s response to the 9/11 and anthrax attacks, the Nepal earthquake, polio eradication in Nigeria, the West Africa Ebola response, and the Coronavirus pandemic. Prior to joining Esri, he was the Chief Information Officer and Associate Commissioner for Technology at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. He is committed to leading efforts to improve the connection between government and their constituents through the Science of Where.

Senior Technical Consultant

Raynah is a Senior Technical Consultant at Esri and also leads the GeoEquity Community in the Professional Services, a groundbreaking initiative that integrates equity into professional consulting practices and empowers clients to incorporate an equity lens into their projects and programs, driving lasting positive impact in communities worldwide. She also co-founded Black Girls M.A.P.P. (Mapping with Action to Pioneer Progress) in 2018, a community-focused initiative that connects and empowers women of color in GIS while supporting marginalized communities in visualizing and addressing social issues through GIS technology. Under her leadership, BGMAPP has developed powerful applications and executed impactful community projects.

Maya Nolan leads the commercial consulting business at Esri. She has an extensive background in cross-functional technology projects for commercial companies and edtech organizations. Her work has involved designing and managing the implementation of transformative technology solutions. She is driven by her passion for people as well as an interest in organizational sustainability and building new digital capabilities.

Maya is driven to expose how geospatial technology can be used to inform organizational resilience. Her current focus is in sustaining a high performing consulting practice that provides geospatial consulting and strategy development to commercial companies.
