DEIB is at a crossroads—it's either the cornerstone of the future workplace or a target for critics. The conversation around Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging has never been more intense, especially in the wake of the Supreme Court’s landmark affirmative action ruling and the ensuing conservative backlash. Some companies, like Lowe’s and Best Buy, are pulling back on their DEIB initiatives. Yet, PowerToFly's 2024 survey reveals a surprising trend: 57% of executives are planning to increase their DEIB investments, while only 8% are scaling back.

But as the landscape shifts, so does the terminology. Will we even call it DEIB in the future? Some leaders are integrating DEIB into broader talent engagement strategies tied to productivity and growth, while others are pivoting towards economic mobility, moving beyond race and gender as primary focuses. One thing is certain—DEIB is evolving, and how companies navigate this evolution will define their success.

Join PowerToFly leaders and like-minded partners for an insightful panel as they share key learnings from PowerToFly’s decade-long journey, exploring the evolution from D&I to DEI to DEIB, and what the future holds.

We’ll discuss:

  • Adapting DEIB Strategies: Learn how to navigate the shifting landscape of DEIB, including emerging trends and how to integrate DEIB within broader talent engagement and economic mobility strategies.
  • Future of DEIB Investment: Gain insights from PowerToFly's 2024 survey on why a majority of executives plan to increase DEIB spending despite the challenges, and what this means for your organization.
  • Evolving Terminology and Focus: Discover how the language and focus of DEIB are changing, and what that means for the future of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace.
  • Practical Insights and Case Studies: Hear real-world examples and lessons learned from PowerToFly’s ten-year history, including successful strategies for maintaining and advancing DEIB efforts during uncertain times.
