Meet The Speakers

Kristi Pruitt
Kristi Pruitt
Area Manager, Expedia Group

Kristi Pruitt is an Area Manager for Expedia Group, based in the Atlanta office. In her role, she leads a team of market managers who collaborate closely with hotel partners to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional traveler experiences—from the first step of choosing a destination to the final stage of booking a hotel room. Recognized for her leadership and impact, Kristi was named Market Management’s 2023 North America Leader of the Year. Before returning to Atlanta three years ago, Kristi served as a Sr. Market Manager in the Washington, DC market, where she also contributed to the broader hospitality community as Secretary of the Washington, DC Chapter of Skål International. She has built her career over more than a decade in the hospitality technology industry, drawing on her earlier experience in advertising and media to bring a unique perspective to her work. Kristi earned her BA in Broadcast Journalism from Georgia State University and continues to apply her communication skills in fostering strong relationships with partners and her team. Outside of work, she’s passionate about cultivating her collection of over 40 houseplants and enjoys life with her five-year-old rescue pup, Harley.

Jessica Johnson

Area Manager, Mid-Market USA - East, Lodging, Expedia Group

Jessica Johnson is a travel and operations leader with 15+ years of experience driving growth, leading teams, and managing multimillion-dollar portfolios. She is currently an Area Manager at Expedia Group, overseeing a $200M East Coast mid-market portfolio. Since joining in 2023, she has focused on strengthening partner relationships and delivering data-driven strategies that boost performance and value.

Jessica began her career in 2010 at American Airlines, moving from the loyalty program service center into Global Sales. As a Channel and Business Development Manager, she partnered with agencies and sold bespoke travel products to high-value customers, building expertise in engagement and partnerships.

In 2019, she joined Amazon as an Assistant Operations Manager, leading a 50,000-square-foot fulfillment center with 100 staff during the early pandemic—an experience that sharpened her skills in execution, resilience, and leadership.

She returned to travel in 2021 at Navan, where she scaled a North America–based team from 7 to 21, developed leaders, and built scalable processes before moving to Expedia Group to expand her impact in travel technology.

Passionate about leadership, Jessica develops teams through empathy, accountability, and growth. Outside of work, she supports philanthropic efforts and enjoys farmers markets, entertaining, reading, traveling, and exploring wine.

A native of Northern Virginia, she now lives just south of Atlanta with her four children, ages 7 to 21.

Breanna Wong

Senior Market Manager, Hotel Market Partnerships, Expedia Group

Breanna Wong is a Senior Market Manager at Expedia Group, where she leads hotel partnerships in the Seattle market. Over her 10-year tenure with the company, she has managed diverse destinations across British Columbia, California, and Washington, building deep expertise in regional travel trends, partner strategy, and tourism development.
Breanna is passionate about connecting data-driven insights with real-world impact, especially when it comes to growing demand and enhancing traveler experiences. Her work focuses on optimizing hotel performance while supporting the broader tourism ecosystem through strategic collaboration and market intelligence.

Before joining Expedia Group, Breanna held roles in hotel sales and market research, including serving as Sales Manager for Sandman Hotel Group and Market Research Analyst at True North Management. These experiences laid the foundation for her strong analytical skills and relationship-driven approach to business development.

She also serves as a commissioner for the Seattle Sports Commission, reflecting her personal and professional interest in how major events contribute to regional growth and visibility. Her commitment to strategic destination development and community engagement aligns closely with Expedia Group’s leadership in travel research and innovation.
