One year after graduating college, I moved to New York to start my company. I made many mistakes and learned from them quickly. I hustled hard, went to many networking events and surrounded myself with people who are smarter than me. Currently, I raised funding for DownToDash which we are currently generating monthly revenue and scaling the app (even during this unprecedented time). One of my favorite tactics is that I strategically collaborate with other founders and event organizers to scale fast, in a cost-effective manner.
In this chat, I want you to walk away with:
Sama Jashnani is the Co-Founder and CEO at DownToDash, an app to meet people based on activities. She has been featured in TEDx, Forbes, HuffPost, Inc and Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch. She also received a full scholarship to study at Warwick Business School for her Masters in Marketing and Strategy. While at college, Sama co-founded a social enterprise that helped rural women in India provide home salon services that enabled them to become financially secure.
