As women, we find ourselves facing career crossroads all the time. Family transitions, company changes, layoffs/reductions, and even intuitions pulling us in new and different directions can open up moments where we think about which road to take. What do you do when you love your company, but the space for advancement is limited through no fault of your own? One option is to leave; and another, quite viable option is to move laterally — a transition that can be reinvigorating and lead to powerful growth.
