But I realize now that there are things we can do to make these kismet moments happen for ourselves - namely cultivating a community of supporters, putting intention out to our network, being able to effectively ask for what we need.

Chondita Dayton is the founder and CEO of Liweli, a premium hemp-derived CBD company, launched in 2020. Previously, Dayton was the founder and CEO of Equality Beauty, a beauty mass customization technology company which was acquired in 2017. Before starting Equality, Dayton was the SVP and General Manager, North America, at Lyst, a luxury fashion ecommerce marketplace. Dayton was also a member of the founding team of Rent the Runway where she spent four years leading partnerships and business development. Dayton has also held positions at Louis Vuitton, Limited Brands and Oliver Wyman Consulting. She holds a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford University.She is a mother of two daughters and lives in Brooklyn.
