Taraka Satti
Taraka Satti is a Director of Engineering at PayPal enabling merchants accept payments from anywhere in the world. She has 18+ years of industry experience in building large scale systems and high-performing teams. She holds a Masters in Computer Engineering from University of South Carolina. She started her career with multiple startups and joined PayPal in 2006. She grew from an engineer to architect to Director of Engineering and worked in various product domains and technology stacks within PayPal. She is highly passionate about women in technology and leads programs such as coding circles and women who build events at PayPal San Jose Campus. Taraka is also formally trained in dance and outside work, she loves teaching dance for kids and adults to perform at local community events . She lives in bay area with her husband, two kids and a dog.
