Program Manager, Facebook

Giuliana McCracken Garcia (she/her) is a Program Manager on the Facebook Reality Labs’ legal team where she leads a PM team in supporting complex, cross-functional efforts to launch new virtual and augmented reality devices (Oculus VR, Portal, Spark AR, and more!). Giuliana also drives high impact initiatives across FRL on ethics, responsible design, and accessibility. Prior to joining Facebook, she was an early member of the legal team at Amazon’s Lab126 device division before leading Alexa speech initiatives in France, Italy, and Spain. Being a queer, latinx woman in tech has often required Giuliana to create the culture she wants to be in and push for awareness and inclusivity. Giuliana co-leads Facebook’s Pride@ERG, participates in the Facebook Legal Department’s Racial Justice Task Force, and outside of work is a commissioner on the San Mateo County LGBTQ Commission

Steph Cwynar is a learning & sales enablement professional with 10+ years of experience across sales & marketing, program management, and education in both the private and nonprofit sectors with organizations such as Facebook, L'Oreal and the NYC Department of Education. She has built her career in a variety of roles and industries, but mostly in organizations that specialize in launching and expanding & scaling innovative products, practices, and programs. Currently, she is a Global Team Lead of Learning & Enablement at Facebook where she leads a group of learning professionals who develop learning and enablement programs to drive the success & learning of 3000+ agents globally across 15 locations. She is the co-founder of inspiHER, a women’s professional development and social organization whose mission is to inspire, empower, and ignite women to be their best selves; and a member of Women@Facebook.

Kristen Murdock

Global Head of the Community Risk Assessment, Facebook

Kristen Murdock is the Global Head of the Community Risk Assessment team, within the Risk and Response organization, and is shaping case design for Facebook's external oversight board. Her team focuses on driving learnings through understanding the gaps and vulnerabilities across Facebook's products, policies, processes and enforcement mechanisms. She joined Facebook in 2017, following thirteen years of service as a Naval Intelligence Officer. Her most recent assignments were at Naval Special Warfare Development Group and the SEAL Team THREE, where she led intelligence efforts in support of operations across the Middle East, Arabian Peninsula and East Africa. Prior to that, she served as a liaison officer for a number of Special Operations Task Forces in Afghanistan, focusing on threat finance and sanctioned terrorist organizations. Kristen graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science; she also holds a Master of Arts in Intelligence Studies with a focus on Counterterrorism and received a certificate from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Arlene Pierret is a Product Design Recruiting Manager at Facebook. In this role, she leads a team of recruiters and sourcers who support hiring Product Designers across the family of apps within Facebook, Inc. She’s had the opportunity to support hiring for Product Design, Sound Design & Content Strategy across various levels within the organization as a recruiter prior to leading teams. Before joining Facebook and moving to the west coast, Arlene was on the east coast in the place she called home, NYC, serving as a recruiter for 10+ years across a variety of industries that included, non-profit, agency, media and ecommerce.
