Meet The Speakers
Ms. Morris is the author of Teen Money 101and Teen Money 102 and founder of Your Life TREK having rebranded Your Money TREK; and works to be a catalyst for improving the quality of life for women and families world-wide with a focus on financial literacy, financial health and wellness, and professional leadership coaching.
She holds a post-MBA Certificate in Accounting and an MBA from Pace University, NY; and a BA from the University of the West Indies. Ms. Morris also holds certifications for, and currently works as a Financial Advisor.
Her passions are traveling, speaking and teaching. The consistent thread running through her life has been a desire to improve lives. She does this by encouraging ongoing education and delivering workshops in financial literacy and wellness to many organizations, multi-generational and multi-ethnic groups.
Ms. Morris has used her experiences at successfully reinventing herself to be continually relevant in the marketplace; to develop a highly impactful leadership coaching methodology, called APPEX (A Personal Professional EXperience).
Ms. Morris is a popular international Keynote and Featured speaker, who has made numerous appearances on TV and Radio. Her book Teen Money 101 was featured on the ABC Here and Now program. Most recently she had digitalized her books and courses on her website at http://www.yourlifetrek.com.
Meg Alexander joined the PowerToFly community as a job-seeker in 2014, eventually landing her first remote role working for PowerToFly’s Delivery Team. Her professional experience includes roles as a Talent Advocate, Head of Purchasing for a window factory, audiobook publishing, & more than 5 years as a paralegal. She has a bachelor's degree in Art History from Indiana University (mint condition, never been used!), where she also earned a varsity letter for Women's Rowing. She loves DIY projects and will never say no to french fries. She lives in Toledo, OH with her husband Aaron, an engineering technician, and their dogs, Radar & Cake.
