Andrea Barrica
Founder / CEO, O.school
My team and I are building a future with less sexual shame and judgment and more permission to build sexual wellness, whatever that means for each person. Every human being on this planet deserves comprehensive education about sex, pleasure, and relationships. Serial founder, ex-investor, contributor to New York Times, SELF, and Forbes.com, author of Sextech Revolution, the Future of Sexual Wellness, & professional public speaker who has spoken at TED Unplugged, Women in Tech Festival, and more. (she/her/they/them) I was raised in a religious, conservative, first-generation Filipino-American family that only taught abstinence. Struggling with my own sexuality and the shameful messages I received about sex and the importance of virginity, I couldn't find reliable resources online. I became obsessed with the question: what exists between Planned Parenthood and porn? Our mission at O.school is to make sure the next generation has more trusted resources than we did.
