Deloitte’s Approach to AI & Data Strategy: A Networking Event

Sheryl Jacobson is the Strategy and Transformation Leader (CSO) for Deloitte Consulting US as well as the lead business partner for one of Deloitte’s Life Sciences clients. Sheryl has spent the last 20+ years helping clients (and Deloitte!) see what is coming, identify the opportunities for them and then capture those opportunities. Sheryl “came to Deloitte” through the acquisition of Monitor Group in 2013. Sheryl currently lives in NYC with her husband, Mark and their son, Michael.

Morgann Carlon is a Senior Manager in the Strategy & Analytics Offering Portfolio with a focus on cognitive and artificial intelligence. Morgann’s primary work has been helping clients develop their analytics and AI strategy, developing operating models, talent competencies, and planning use case roadmaps. Morgann also leads AI and data science pods through PoC development and industrialization. Her most recent work includes development of AI models to help predict and lower emergency room length of stay as well as developing new business models and a new corporate strategic direction for a data and analytics organization. Morgann is our Head of Conversational AI for the Life Sciences and Healthcare industry.

Cynthia MacFarlane is a Leader in the Strategy & Analytics practice. She leads the US practice for Analytics & Cognitive in Insurance which includes Data Strategy & Governance, Data Modernization, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning capabilities. She has over 28 years of Financial Services industry and technology experience across P&C, Group and Life & Annuities & Investment Management. Cynthia has extensive experience advising, designing and implementing analytics modernization transformation programs for many of our large insurance US clients.

Gina leads Deloitte’s Intelligent Automation practice. She has 25 years of experience helping drive innovative solutions, at scale, to real-world business issues leveraging AI enabled automation alongside process and org transformation. She specializes in helping large enterprises take a strategic, ROI-focused approach to applying automation technologies to high-value, decision making tasks as well as to more rules-based, processes. She applies experience gained in the first 20 years of her career when she was focused on full-cycle shared services engagements to re-imagine end-to-end business in light of the capabilities enabled by AI and RPA.

Elaine is a Leader in Deloitte’s Strategy & Analytics practice, advising business and IT leaders on how to translate their strategic choices into a digital agenda that enhances revenue, reduces operational costs and improves human performance in reliability, maintenance and safety. Her experience is focused on shaping client’s digital agenda and technology strategy and leading their end to end transformation journey. Elaine is an experienced joiner to Deloitte with more than 20 years industry and consulting experience in oil, gas and chemicals. She contributes to eminence that helps clients reimagine their technology future, future-proof their environment and stay agile in a constantly disruptive environment. She has helped organizations define their digital ambitions, close the IT capability maturity gap and establish governance structures for continuous improvement.
