Cybersecurity Awareness expert at Yale University by day, Wendy Battles pursues her passion for celebrating, illuminating and elevating midlife and older women, by night. As the host of the Reinvention Rebels podcast, Wendy interviews bold and unapologetic women, 50-90, who have reinvented themselves later in life to see new possibilities. From traveling solo around the world with a carry-on bag at 60, to penning and publishing a first novel at 62 to launching a modeling career at 72, these women are fierce and fabulous. Through deep listening and authentic conversation, Wendy uncovers how these extraordinary women have reinvented themselves in interesting and inspiring ways. They prove that any of us can reinvent ourselves at any age or any stage.

I am on a mission to humanize the workplace. I do in several ways: At the macro/cross-industries: I work with the Conference Board’s Fortune 500 corporations-members and help them rethink their workplace and workforce strategies through research and facilitated conversations so they can prepare for what's ahead. With the organizational leadership: I lead Reframe.Work Inc. and consult on how to create great workplace experiences through the use of technology, human-centered design, people analytics, and future-thinking. At the individual level: I've founded amazing.community - a nonprofit extending the work horizon for women 45+. Our sweet spot is age+gender+technology and our solutions are focused on helping women prepare for the workplace of the future, and for organizations to create inclusive environments for them. At the professional development level: I am an adjunct at NYU School of Professional Studies teaching Digital Workplace Design and Design Thinking (part of Human Capital Analytics and Technology Master's program) At the network level: I am the co-founder of the Strategic HR Analytics Meet-up that over the past five years has been bringing together almost 2,000 members in the NYC area to shape their thinking about people analytics. Previously I transformed the workplace at the intersection of technology, analytics, and HR at Fidelity Investments, TIAA, IBM, Price Waterhouse, and PwC Consulting and their clients. I've been recognized as one of the Top 100 HR Influencers by Engagedly, the top 40 global Influencers in HR Tech by Digital HR Tech, and I am the judge for MIT’s Inclusive Innovation Challenge. I hold a diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science, speak English, Romanian and Russian, have a patent-pending for a social sentiment analysis tool, and am a sought-after speaker on the topics of People Analytics and the Future of Work.
