Zeke McMillan is a Partner with Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory Practice, specifically serving as the Accounting & Internal Controls Talent & Inclusion leader. Zeke has been with Deloitte for over 12 years and supports Defense clients with finance modernization, controls rationalization, and process improvement through automation. Zeke is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion and drives firm initiatives related to culture, wellness, and connectivity. Zeke is a native from the Washington D.C. metro area, a dad of two, and enjoys spending time with his family.

Senior Manager
Angela Thornton-Young is a Senior Manager with Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory Practice, she is PMP certified and has an MBA with 20+ years of industry experience in project management, federal financial statements audit, A-123, FIAR, and audit remediation. She has 12 years supporting DoD financial improvement and audit readiness engagements with 8+ directly supporting the Department of the Air Force. Outside of client service, Angela leads the A&IC DE&I ‘Experienced Hire’ Pillar and the GPS DE&I Attract Pillar. She is passionate about increasing diverse hires and support their upward trajectory in the firm. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with my family, mentoring, and volunteering.

Julie Beecher is a Senior Manager within Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory, Accounting and Internal Controls practice with over 18 years of extensive experience overseeing large complex Sarbanes Oxley and OMB A123 compliance and readiness programs. Julie delivers Internal Audit services at several of our State, Local and Higher Education Institutions. She is also a mom of two girls and is passionate about identifying and fostering the growth of new leaders with diverse backgrounds. She has led both the legacy diversity, equity, and inclusion Pioneer and Discovery internship programs to identify a diverse, STEM affiliated pipeline of future Deloitte campus hire professionals. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running 5Ks, and baking with her girls.

Nakeya has 10+ years of experience supporting clients with financial statement execution, accounting and finance process improvement, internal controls, innovation, and system implementations. Nakeya is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, and supports a variety of firm initiatives relating to DEI. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her wife and dog

Melissa Delcid is a Senior Consultant with Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory practice. Melissa has 3+ years of experience supporting federal clients with internal controls, audit readiness and accounting process improvement. Outside of client service, Melissa is the Deputy Chief of Staff within Deloitte’s Accounting and Internal Controls Talent and Inclusion portfolio. Melissa is passionate about fostering a safe environment for others to express themselves. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys traveling with her boyfriend, crafting and loving all animals - big and small.
