Is there room for an executive to pivot into the industry. I have served time as a marketing director and creative director and it feels a little like gaming has so many barriers to entry at the executive level as the medium is something of a "sells itself" kind of product. Even with high levels of content marketing experience I'm things like energy drinks and professional sport, I feel like I'm unable to break in without literally halving my current salary. Gaming is where I want to be though. Any thoughts or targets?
