We have a manager who is great at connecting with his employees on a more personal level, however he really struggles with most other things such as showing his emotions in front of his staff when he is frustrated, cannot retain any information / training we give him, and when he has a frustration or concern, he will ask opinions of 4-5 other parties rather than going straight to the source. We have tried meeting with him to offer suggestions of improvement, but he doesn't not take constructive criticism very well. How would you suggest we handle these issues?
