How to deal with unconscious gender bias at work that is not malicious but just annoying over time (For example: The CTO always asking a male coworker with the same title first rather than opening the questions to the both of us). As a developer, I do find it difficult to bring up these issues when teams and more importantly higherups are male and typically find it hard to empathize and know how to move forward. They do try but typically there is no action taken to address these sorts of minor gender bias incidents.
