Bias in AI and How to Decrease Its Impact

Beyond algorithms: AI's impact on hiring, the workplace, DEIB, and beyond

Forrester estimates that almost 100% of organizations will be using AI by 2025 yet AI is not without its own biases. For example, a US Department of Commerce study found that facial recognition AI often misidentifies people of color. If law enforcement uses facial recognition tools, this bias could lead to wrongful arrests of people of color. Critics fear that similar AI bias can affect many aspects of businesses, including hiring. We are joined by Skye King, SVP – Social Impact and Resilience at Ogilvy to discuss bias in AI and how to decrease it.
