Job Description:

Investment Cashier | Remote with a minimum of 2 days in the Harlow office per month | Monday - Friday 9-5 | £28,000 | Permanent contract/Full time

Impact

The overall objective for the role is to ensure for the Companies within our responsibility, daily cash transactions are managed to ensure maximum cash utilisation. As part of the Treasury Team, you will also be responsible to prepare cash forecast and schedule the necessary transfer of funds and liaise with the US Treasury Management to ensure appropriate forecast cover is taken.

This position is located is remote working with a minimum of 2 days in the Harlow office per month.

The Job

As an Investment Cashier, you will be accountable for:

  • Preparing the third party payments and investments for the respective Business units and to support the reconciliation of specified ledger accounts in accordance with company policy, ensuring corrective action is taken to minimise any exposure to P&L, whilst also ensuring the daily banking deadlines are met.

  • The monitoring of transmission of AP payables, DD Submisions and Client Refunds which are sent daily , Payroll submissions including social tax payments which are sent monthly, and VAT and Corporation Tax as required.

  • Ensuring the correct authorisation process has been adhered to, before proposing the disbursement, challenging and updating matrices, where appropriate.

  • Producing monthly analysis and adhoc reports for senior management

  • Communicating on a daily basis with the larger treasury team and also our offshore outsource partner to ensure an open communication channel to provide guidance and guarantee a strong healthy working relationship

Qualifications

  • Experience of working within a Banking / Finance/ Administration role

  • Online bank systems knowledge desirable although not essential

  • Intermediate Excel skills

  • Knowledge of any of these systems is highly desirable: SAP PD1 and SAP4Hana Cloud

  • Team player

  • Good communication skills

  • Fluent in second European language - written and verbal is desirable
