The key responsibilities of the Manager will include the following
Conduct comprehensive reviews of Internal Control, including control documentation, walkthroughs, testing, remediation, and reporting
Analyze large and complex data sets
Use Excel and Power BI to develop interactive visualizations and business intelligence capabilities for creating management information (MI) dashboards
Implement the vision, mission, strategies, and annual goals of the Internal Control function, this includes analyzing data to identify unusual trends, anomalies, and transactions non-compliant with Visa policies and procedures
Promptly escalate high-risk exceptions to the line manager for immediate action, reporting, and resolution
Collaborate closely with the line manager to identify risk areas, implement solutions to address exceptions, and enhance processes to reduce risk
Work together with regional/global teams to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness while exploring opportunities for centralization, globalization, and automation.
Articulate improvements in existing processes and propose solutions to enhance efficiency
Recommend enhancements to the testing framework to address specific needs and risks at the country/cluster level
Assess risks and controls for new system implementations, evaluate the financial impact on controls, and propose solutions to rectify identified issues
Support documentation to enhance finance processes and related controls such as revenue, payables, accounting, Operations support
Aid in the testing of the SOX program, considering embedded and automated system controls, while also assessing the impact of IT on business and finance processes.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Masters Degree
• Years of Experience: More than 5 years of experience required
• Certifications: Chartered CISA / CIA / CFE preferred
