WORK OPTION: 4 days a week in the New York, NY office

Position Summary:
This position will join a team of marketers committed to driving innovation and business results for the NBA and its partners. This individual will serve a critical role in managing partner deliverables with a focus of working across the organization to ensure input and approvals are acquired, assist in driving revenue growth and managing the day to day contact with all NBA internal departments and properties.
Major Responsibilities:
Work across the organization to ensure input and approvals are acquired. Particular focus on collaboration with Events, Creative Services and Live Programming & Entertainment
Manage execution of NBA and affiliate league properties and programs, with a focus on partner activation:
Day-to-day contact with all NBA internal departments on properties --Serve as key liaison with events
Work closely with account teams on partner/prospect objectives and their alignment with program & league objectives
Oversee production of creative elements and traffic approvals for program materials
Compile and provide internal updates on program development and execution
Keep records and recommendations for internal and external purposes
Communicate key issues internally via status reports and meeting updates
Assist in budget management
Develop and foster positive relationships with internal departments, managing partner objectives to NBA strategic priorities .
Support various account teams on a project basis demonstrating an ability to be flexible, serve as a team player, and effectively prioritize multiple deliverables against deadline
Track and research key developments and trends in event sponsorship and marketing
Assist in management of event driven partnerships, developing strong relationships and building credibility with external partners
Assist in development of upsell proposals for partners throughout the season, working closely with the Activation Team, tracking where we are in conversation
Represent the team on league-wide initiatives that help support the league’s mission and OKR’s (E.g. Fan Events, SR initiatives)
Required Education/Professional Experience:
3-4 years professional experience in relevant field (experiential marketing, account management, or brand management)
Bachelor's Degree, preferred fields of study: Marketing, Advertising, Sports Management, or Communications
Required Skills/Knowledge Attributes:
Solid understanding of all facets of sponsorship activation including marketing rights, event marketing, experiential marketing, media, brand management, hospitality, content, etc.
Strong relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust and credibility and adapt to various personalities and working styles
Strong presentation skills, including the ability to lead discussions and interact with senior executives (internally and externally)
Must be highly motivated, proactive, self-starter with high energy and team spirit!
Must be a solutions-oriented individual committed to troubleshooting and problem solving with internal constituents and external partners
Ability to creatively find solutions to problems in high pressure environments
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000
