- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a platforms, devices, gaming, or similar technology industry, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- Experience in a people management role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience structuring strategy for business organizations including experience in either management consulting or within internal strategy teams.
- Deep understanding of the partner and market landscape for Platforms and Devices products.
- Familiarity with key products/business including Chrome, Messages, Workspace, etc.
The Platforms & Devices (P&D) Partnerships Strategy & Operations team creates and drives cohesive business strategy across the suite of P&D products: Android, Play, Chrome OS, Photos, Privacy Sandbox, and more. We deeply understand the partner ecosystem and markets in which these products operate, and apply structured analysis and reasoning to help develop and execute strategy. We also drive thought leadership across our products and markets to inform strategic decisions across the P&D and broader Global Partnerships (GP) leadership teams. We also partner closely across key stakeholders in Business Development (BD), Productivity Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and the broader GP/Partnership Solutions Go-To-Market organizations to drive scaled impact for our business and product partners.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$314,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Lead commercial/business strategy and operations for the P&D Partnerships team covering products including Chrome, Messaging, Google One and Photos, Chrome OS, Starline, Workspace, and more.
- Drive strategic initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams to deliver on our business goals.
- Support BD Leads as Chief of Staff, covering key team initiatives including team strategy, executive communications, organization meetings, and off-sites.
- Operate as a player/coach driving strategic initiatives directly while also guiding a team of Strategy and Operations Leads.
- Grow and develop a team of Strategy and Operations Leads working across a broad set of P&D priority businesses.
