Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Manager, Solution Consulting in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Work with customers, including business executives, business analysts, and IT development staff. Understand business needs and distill the information into business and technical requirements. Solve business and technology challenges related to improving customers and employee experience. Leverage Salesforce technology and platform to help clients transform their sales, service and marketing capabilities business and technology challenges related to improving customer and employee experience. Serve as a Trusted Advisor, drive conversations with our customer's Enterprise Architects and Business Stakeholders armed with best practices for enterprise architecture functions such as Security, Performance, Requirements Analysis and Application Governance. Build a collaborative and empathetic relationship with the business stakeholders. Build relationships with Customer and manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions to complex problems with both the customer and third-party partners. Design and develop functional solution architecture, application and integration development best practices, enterprise architecture standards, DevOps Strategy & implementation, environment management, testing, and Force.com Platform education. Leverage Salesforce technology and platform to help clients transform their sales, service and marketing capabilities. Contribute to the growth of the Services practice by identifying and leading internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice, serving as an active contributor to the practice knowledge and resource base; mentor, educate, and enrich Salesforce, customer and partner colleagues. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience. Must be a team player as demonstrated through a customer qualification of a large scale/enterprise implementation with multiple work streams. Experience in documenting business processes and wire-framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc. as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs. Effectively present a point of view and clearly articulate the rationale to a variety of stakeholders. Effectively lead, inspire, coach, and develop other Salesforce Professional Services team members engaged in the Services delivery through active mentorship. Develop and strengthen others’ consulting skills, industry knowledge, product knowledge, competency skills, and leadership capabilities. ^HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Up to 25% travel required to client sites at unanticipated locations across the U.S.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Management Information Systems, or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Management Information Systems).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) JIRA; (2) Scrum; (3) Agile Methodology; (4) ETL; (5) Apex; (6) Visualforce; (7) SoQL; (8) SQL; and (9) Salesforce.com - CRM. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Up to 25% travel required to client sites at unanticipated locations across the U.S.
Salary: $187,533.00 - $236,900.00 per annum.
