This position will work in a high volume, fast-paced call center respond to and diagnose computer and technical application support incidents.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Quickly and effectively utilize tools for resolution or routing to next level of support
- Elevate questions, problems and significant challenges to senior employees
- Answer incoming IT Service Center calls and documentation
- Answer incoming phone calls to the IT Service Center, averaging 500+ per month
- Using provided tools resolve 50 to 70 % of the less complex incidents immediately and assign more complex incidents to next level of support
- Adhere to a defined work schedule, procedures and performance standards
- Utilize a supportive Knowledge Base to search for resolution steps
- Document supporting notes that will contribute to the overall knowledge base
- Act as incident coordinator when need for escalated issues
- Participate in internal training
- Stay informed about technology and system-wide changes that may impact IT systems
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of service desk Technical Support Call Center experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science or information technology field
- Experience using ServiceNow
- ITIL Foundations certification and/or experience
