We are looking for a versatile communications DIYer to join our small-but-mighty Tableau CEO team!
In this role, you’ll drive internal communications for our Tableau Leadershp Team and internal audiences. That includes planning and execution, collaborating internally across matrixed partners, and externally with customers, partners, and industry groups. You’ll craft and deliver keynote presentations and internal business updates, map thoughtful moments for customer outreach, and help the Tableau CEO engage with our entire DataFam in effective and inspiring ways.
We’re looking for a strategic problem solver who can build positive relationships, connect ideas and information from a broad landscape, and get the job done. Key is your ability to work in a constantly evolving environment, apply critical thinking, and take the initiative to get results.
This work requires copy-writing skills, creativity, and a strong willingness to work cross-functionally: every day we partner with Sales & Product leadership, PR, Marketing, Customer Success, and other support functions like Sales Programs and Operations.

You are a phenomenal communicator with prior experience in marketing, communications, public relations or another similar role. You are a great teammate and a self-starter with a can-do attitude. Responsibilities:
Work with the industry's most innovative marketers to craft and evangelize our corporate positioning and message
Interact with senior executives to create and develop innovative and impactful all-hands-call presentations
Partner with designers to build and continuously up-level content
Partner with PR to develop integrated product launches and announcements that align internal and external communications
Pitch ideas to further Tableau's position internally
Raise, develop, and drive breakthrough ideas that showcase Tableau's products and core values at internal events
Experience/Skills Preferred:
5-7+ years of experience in product or corporate marketing, communications, public relations, or another related field
Consistent track record of strong writing abilities and crafting compelling positioning, messaging, and thought leadership content
Consistent track record of interacting with executives to develop executive-level presentations
Proven experience crafting a customer/product story, or a corporate/product announcement
Proven track record to take initiative and lead a project from idea to success with minimal guidance
Ability to work cross-functionally and cross-departmentally
Strong public speaking and storytelling skills
Passion for data, technology, and innovative thinking
High energy, personable, innovative, and creative
Willing to travel within the United States and globally (up to 25%)
Advanced Google Slides and Slack skills a plus

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $100,100 to $137,600. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $109,200 to $150,200.
